ABOUT OUR TEAM
Anna Braswell, Ph.D.
Dr. Anna Braswell is a coastal ecosystem ecologist in the School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences at the University of Florida (UF). She is interested in the formation, persistence and degradation of coastal ecosystems within the context of the surrounding terrestrial, marine and urban systems.
Through her cross-appointment with Florida Sea Grant, Dr. Braswell also works with stakeholders and managers to create tools and educational products to better maintain coastal watersheds and ecosystems. She leads the Coastal Ecosystems and Watersheds Lab at UF.
Vincent Lecours, Ph.D.
Dr. Vincent Lecours was an Assistant Professor of
Marine Remote Sensing & Geospatial Analysis in the
School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences
at the University of Florida (UF), and now works at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, in Canada.
He led the Marine Geomatics Lab at UF and conducts research
on marine habitat mapping, marine geomorphometry, and how the spatial sciences can be best used to assist with these disciplines.

Xiaohui Qiao, Ph.D.
Dr. Xiaohui (Sherry) Qiao is a Research Assistant Professor in the Economic Impact Analysis Program within the Food and Resource Economics Department at the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences. Her research specializes in web-based GIS development, geospatial computing, disaster impact analysis, and hydroinformatics.
She is interested in leveraging interdisciplinary technologies (GIS, data science, and informatics) to address complex research challenges in environmental science and agriculture. Much of her work focuses on enhancing the accessibility, reusability, and interoperability of geospatial data and modeling workflows to support data-driven decision-making and research innovation.

Bradley Ennis
Bradley Ennis was a research coordinator in the
Marine Geomatics Lab of the School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences at the University of Florida.
He is a GIS programmer with a Master's in Coastal Sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi. He has previously worked with Florida’s Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) focusing on fisheries management, environmental monitoring, and coastal habitat assessment.

Erik Kvaleberg, Ph.D.
Dr. Erik Kvaleberg was a Postdoctoral Associate in the
Marine Geomatics Lab of the School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences at the University of Florida.
He is a physical oceanographer with a Ph.D. from Florida State University, and previously worked for the Norwegian Armed Forces as the coordinator for meteorological, oceanographic, and maritime geospatial information. Contributors & End Users
It would not have been possible to compile all the information displayed on the Florida Marine Data Hub without contributions from the community of stakeholders and end users. Many of them are listed in our report.
We thank all stakeholders that contributed in any way to the activities of this Center of Excellence.
